FAQs – General Questions
1. What makes of passenger car/commercial van do you supply?
We will source, supply and manage whatever make or model of car, van, 4X4 or specialist
vehicle you may require.
2. Can you arrange finance for our transport needs?
Yes. WFM can offer and tailor funding options for all your transport needs.
3. Is vehicle servicing limited to Dublin?
No. With our nationwide network of suppliers we can arrange vehicle services anywhere in Ireland.
4. My business is extra busy at different times of the year and we need more
drivers on a seasonal basis. Can WFM help?
Yes. You can hire "short term" vehicles as you need them without committing to a
long-term contract.
5. Who do I contact when I need to arrange a service?
Your drivers will be assigned their own account manager who has been briefed on
your drivers’ requirements. By having one point of contact, a relationship is built
ensuring delivery of our WFM service.
6. How many cars do I need to have to avail of WFM’s fleet services?
Our products are beneficial to companies with 1 to 500+ vehicles!
7. What is the main difference between lease-purchase and contract-hire?
The main difference is that with contract hire you hand back the vehicle at the
end of the agreed term, whereas with lease purchase, you own the vehicle. Talk to our
experts to see which option suits you best and we will tailor a package for you.
8. I’d like to order some new vehicles with WFM, can you take my current ones
as part exchange?
Of course. Trade-ins and or cash deposits (or equivalents) can significantly reduce the
repayments of your new vehicle contract, minimizing your fleet cost outlay and saving
your company revenue.
9. We have taken on new staff who are awaiting delivery of new vehicles. Can
we get them on the road now with up-to-date cars/vans on a short term basis?
Yes. We can supply "pre-contract" vehicles at very competitive rates which you can hand back at any stage with very little notice.
11. We already own our vehicles outright, can we avail of your maintenance services?
A lot of companies have their own policy of fleet ownership. We can manage your
vehicles comprehensively so you can focus on the company’s core activities - we
will review your existing fleet and suggest the best possible maintenance programme for you.
12. Can I reclaim VAT on lease repayment amounts or Contract Hire repayment amounts?
VAT can be reclaimed if you are a business and registered for VAT for certain vehicle expenses. VAT cannot be reclaimed on the lease payments (or contract hire payments) for passenger cars. On the other hand, VAT can be reclaimed on payments made in relation to commercial vehicles. VAT on maintenance payments can be reclaimed once the vehicle is used for business purposes.

1. What time periods can I opt for with my finance?
We can offer a package from 6 months to 60 months in order to give the customer maximum flexibility. (Which ever suits you).
2. Do you offer a maintenance package?
Yes. Our package is one of the most comprehensive available and will ensure
worry-free motoring for you and (or) your drivers.
3. What is included in the maintenance package?
All routine servicing in accordance with manufacturers scheduled recommendations is included,
as is Road Tax for the duration of the contract. Road tyres are replaced due to normal wear & tear and in conjunction
with manufacturers scheduled intervals. Breakdown recovery and replacement vehicles are provided. Contract maintenance is
valid for the term of contract and/or agreed mileage, whichever comes first. In short, we can tailor any maintenance
package to best fit your budget and requirements.
4. Do I have to opt for the maintenance package?
No. The maintenance package is a service we offer but it is your decision whether or not it suits your company’s requirements.
5. Who owns the vehicle for the duration of the contract?
The asset remains the property of the finance company for the duration of the lease. On expiry of the lease, WFM purchases the asset back
from the finance company.
6. How much deposit do you require?
Each case is judged on the requirements of the individual. It is likely that you would need one monthly payment in advance but as ever, we can tailor a package to suit your needs.
7. Can you advise me on which makes of vehicles to go for?
Yes. Our industry experts are up to date with all the latest trends and new releases. They will advise you of the best options in terms of both cost efficiency and reliability.
8. Can I add accessories and optional extras?
Of course. As well as manufacturers’ options, we can supply phone kits, sign-writing, communication devices, Satellite Navigation (Sat-Nav), Tow-bars and various specialised packages.
9. What happens if I want to finish my contract before the agreed term?
It is possible but an early termination charge may be applicable. Termination charges are determined by the mileage, condition and the unexpired portion of the lease.

The finance house owns the vehicle for the duration of the term of the lease. On expiry of the lease the title is passed to the lessee.

FAQs – Short Term Hire
1. My business is extremely busy at certain times of the year and we need more drivers on a seasonal basis. Can WFM help?
Yes. You can hire "short term" vehicles as you need them without committing to a long-term contract.
2. We have taken on new staff awaiting delivery of new vehicles. Can we get
them on the road now with up to date vehicles on a short term basis?
Yes. We can supply "Pre-Contract" vehicles at very competitive rates, enabling new staff to drive the latest models immediately and hand them back at any stage with very little notice.
3. What about insurance?
Fully comprehensive insurance must be provided by your company. However, we may facilitate the transfer of insurance before you drive away.
4. What choice of vehicles do I have?
We categorise types of vehicles into different classes. We have cars from small size to executive class, commercial 4x4s and vans of all sizes. Makes and models will vary but we will always try to accommodate your preference.
5. How long can I short term hire a vehicle?
Anytime from one day to one year.
6. Is short term hire a finance agreement?
No. A short term hire agreement does not involve any financial institution. It is an agreement between WFM and the customer.
